Shadow Moon is a major antagonist from the Japanese tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Black. He first appeared in episode 36, titled "Shadow Moon!".
Originally named Nobuhiko Akizuki, he was Kotaro Minami's (Kamen Rider Black's) step-brother. Both were candidates to become the next Creation King of Gorgom. Abducted and experimented upon, Nobuhiko was transformed into Shadow Moon, a powerful warrior clad in black and silver armor.
Unlike Kotaro, Nobuhiko's transformation was not fully resisted, resulting in him losing his memories and becoming loyal to Gorgom. As Shadow Moon, he serves as Kamen Rider Black's arch-rival, possessing similar abilities but driven by a desire to defeat Kamen Rider Black and claim the Creation King's throne.
Shadow Moon is defined by his ruthlessness and dedication to Gorgom's evil goals. He wields the Satan Saber and is known for his immense strength and speed, making him a formidable opponent for Kamen Rider Black.
